Adult Programming Coordinator
The Oak Bluffs Library is looking for a creative, charismatic and tech-savvy Adult Programming Coordinator who will be responsible for the development, planning, coordinating, promoting, and executing of in-person, virtual and hybrid library programs and special events, as well as synchronizing and maintaining the library’s social media presence.
We are looking for candidates with demonstrated interpersonal, customer service and research skills, who can connect with the Island community through effective outreach initiatives that promote compelling and relevant library events for both our residents and visitors.
Associate’s degree or equivalent and one (1) to three (3) years of public event planning experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a public service setting. MA Driver’s license required.
Starting range $24.47 – $25.97 per hour, Union position, 40 hours per week with comprehensive benefits package.
