Join Jonathan for a discussion of David McCullough’s The Great Bridge 6pm – 7pm February 9 2021. McCullough tells the story of the epic construction project of the era – the building of the Brooklyn Bridge. Live as a bystander through the seemingly insurmountable engineering challenges posed by the massive suspension bridge, the Tammany Hall and Boss Tweed politics of the day and the mood and spirit of the times. (Participants are encouraged but not required to read  book.)
