MIRA – Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Coalition – Headquartered in Boston, MIRA is committed to running Citizenship Clinics, offering free or low cost legal advice, and partnering with other agencies to offer support and information to immigrants and refugees.  MIRA-Coalizão de Imigrantes e Refugiados de Massachusetts – Com sede em Boston, a MIRA está comprometida em administrar Clínicas de Cidadania, oferecendo consultoria jurídica gratuita ou de baixo custo e em parceria com outras agências para oferecer suporte e informações a imigrantes e refugiados.

As a recipient of a Library Science Technology Act (LSTA) grant, awarded by Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC), the Oak Bluffs Library has been improving our citizenship and English Language Learning services over the last two years.

The improved Citizenship Corner and English Learning program were completed in Fall 2020. The Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) is supported by federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
