Language Learning Collection

ESL: Beginner Level Class (Currently not offered.)

Began in Spring 2019 as part of a LSTA grant initiative to improve Citizenship and English Language Services. The course is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and The Library Friends of Oak Bluffs. It was offered twice a year for 10 weeks in the Fall and Spring and enrollment was capped at 10 students. Please contact the library to indicate your interest for when classes resume; ; 508-693-9433

Language Learning Groups

Conversation Circle – English language support (Currently not offered)

Join this multi-lingual group as we explore everyday English words and local culture. Any level of English speaker and speakers of all languages are encouraged to attend. Contact or call 508-693-9433 for more details.

Friday Afternoon French (Currently not offered)

A facilitated lesson using the Mango Language program. We’ll do one chapter a week for a total of 10 weeks. Beginner level course, free and open to all.
