For students entering grades 6-9. Learn new skills, meet people and help the library.

Play Kitchen and Store

Come enjoy watching your kids be creative and solve problems! Play is the primary way kids learn and express themselves. For ages 2-6. Drop in between 10am-noon.

Lego and Magna-tile

When playing with toys for building things, children learn while having fun. Creativity, problem solving, spatial reasoning and teamwork are skills your child can learn while playing. Yoga Palooza

Fun with yoga, mindfulness, music and a story.  Join friends at the Oak Bluffs Public library and have fun moving through yoga poses.  Ages 5-10 years old.

Family Fishing

Meet librarian Jonathan on the OB fishing pier. Equipment and supplies are provided. For kids and their families. No prior experience necessary. Drop in event.

Baby and Toddler Storytime

Join us for a fun-filled storytime with stories, songs, and shakers!Play-based! Tummy time for our smallest pals! Learn little literacy practices. Bring a favorite board book with you.

Storywalk

For those in strollers- age 8. Walk together from the library down to the harbor as we enjoy a pirate themed story. There will be a surprise when we arrive!

Outside Storytime

Join us for a fun-filled storytime with stories, songs, and scarves. Stories are geared toward kids ages 1.5 to 5 years old, but all ages are welcome. We’ll be on the library lawn if the weather allows.
