Each September we celebrate all things maritime during our Maritime Month! Enjoy creating with your hands and meeting new friends. There will be a new craft project each week. For ages 3-11.

Join us for energetic, song-filled storytimes! Geared to ages 1.5- 5 years old but all ages are welcome. Outside on the library lawn. Rain location inside the children's room.

Come enjoy watching your kids be creative and solve problems! Play is the primary way kids learn and express themselves. For ages 2-6. Drop in between 10am-noon.

Child centered play while caregivers and the librarian observe and show curiosity. There will be pre-selected activities each week. Examples include: light table, blocks, kinetic sand, paint, and playdough. For kids ages 2-6

Join us for a FREE circle time and show and tell at the Oak Bluffs Library. Leave with a weekly curriculum for home. Make your own dinosaur fossil with Oak Bluffs Children's Librarian Mary Jane from 2-4pm on Saturday September 30th. Free public science event suitable for all ages. This is a drop-in and mingle event. Guest presenters will display fossils and be available for discussion. Students and families especially welcome.
