Shellfish Seeding & Protecting MV

September 23, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

An action-packed morning helping Emma Green-Beech, Director of MV Shellfish Group and Chuck Fisher, OB Shellfish Constable, to seed Sengekontacket for future shellfishing.

This active program will require walking and have participants wading in the water up to their waist. Please dress appropriately, including water shoes and gloves that can get wet, as the shells are sharp. If you don’t have gloves, we can provide them for you.

Ages 12+

Parking will be a Pecoy Point Preserve, 26 Pulpit Rock Rd, a Landbank property off of County Rd.

**This event is off-site and requires pre-registration as space is very limited. Please call 508-693-9433, or email oakb_mail@clamsnet.org to sign-up.
