Collaboration event with the Vineyard Haven Public Library.

Get your day off to a good start by sketching with me around the globe! We will ‘travel’ via Zoom and travel cams – I will pick a new location each week depending on where the light and scenery looks good. (Italy, England, Spain, Switzerland, Kenya, etc.)

It’s just like plein air or travel sketching — the weather will be changing, people will be moving, etc., so it’s great practice for your own urban or travel art. With the huge benefit of being in the comfort of your home (and possibly, due to the time of day, in your bathrobe with a big mug of coffee! You can keep your camera off! )

This isn’t a class, just a chance to draw or paint together. When you log into Zoom you will see where we are that week, and in my Zoom rectangle, you will see my sketchbook and can watch me work for the hour while you are working on your own sketch.

If the scene we are watching has sound, I will play that. If not, we will listen to some mellow music to start the day.
