The Oak Bluffs Library, African American Heritage Trail of Martha’s Vineyard, and Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers invites you to join us at the summer reception honoring the life of Robert C. Hayden, Science Teacher, Historian, and Social Activist, in celebration of his new plaque on the AAHTMV. 
The outdoor reception will take place on the South Lawn with light refreshments. Remarks will take place between 12:30 and 1pm, after which everyone will be invited indoors for the “Giving Her Her Flowers” art reception, the next event in the library’s Sankofa Festival.
