Oak Bluffs Library seeks creative, charismatic and tech-savvy candidates who will be responsible for the development, planning, coordinating, promoting, and executing of library programs as well as storytelling and creating community through the library’s social media accounts.
We are looking for candidates with demonstrated organizational, customer service and community-building skills, who can build and maintain local relationships that will help us create compelling and relevant library events for both our residents and visitors.
Associate’s degree or equivalent and one (1) to three (3) years of public event planning experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a public service setting. MA Driver’s license required.
Starting hourly range $27.31 to $28.98.
Non-exempt, 40 hours per week, union position with a benefit package that includes health insurance, paid leave and enrollment onto the Dukes County Retirement System.
