The Revolutionary Plate: Forgotten Foods of the 18th Century w/ Norah Van Riper, Itinerant Historian

The American Revolution disrupted life on Martha’s Vineyard in many ways — including how people ate! But what was it, exactly, that people were eating here in the 18th century? How did the British colonial diet differ from ours today? Join Norah Van Riper for a taste of the past and explore how food fashions have changed in the last 250 years.
