Oak Bluffs Public Library celebrates with a Juneteenth Potluck with recipes cooked from Watermelon
and Red Birds by Nicole A. Taylor, the celebrated author of the first cookbook to celebrate Juneteenth. Ms. Taylor joined the Vineyard Gazette’s Cook the Vineyard event last summer and draws on her decade of experiences observing the holiday.

We’ll cook different recipes from the same cookbook and come together for a meal and discussion! The cookbook will be at the circulation desk — choose your recipe and we’ll make a copy for you.
