At some point in a wage earners’ career, the individual will likely experience unemployment, (dis)employment, underemployment, or misemployment. These circumstances can evoke a range of emotions, including relief, anxiety, rejection, hopelessness, or denial.

AI has transformed how job seekers find and land jobs. I aim to provide practical tools to help job seekers navigate the complexities of job searching in the AI era. Participants will leave the workshop with actionable job search strategies they can implement immediately, often at no or minimal costs.

For more than fifteen years Dr. Battles has partnered with early career professionals to help them
navigate the maze of searching, applying and interviewing for the ideal job. He has helped multiple of
hundreds of individuals secure jobs or launch their career. Dr. Battles leverage his many years of
industry experience and working with graduate and professional degree seeking students to deepen his
understanding of the talent funnel for the 21st century workforce.
