We are launching a new monthly book club at the OB Library led by Bella Morais, an avid reader and self-described book addict. This month’s book is Kelly Barnhill’s When Women Were Dragons. This is a two-event offering, with a virtual drop-in Reading Café followed by a Full Moon potluck book discussion.

The Café will be hosted on Zoom on Thursday, March 14th from 7PM-9PM . It will be open for readers who want to carve out time with the book community but are just getting into the swing of things. Drop in anytime or stay the whole session! The Reading Café is designed to provide space for those reading and discuss in the chat any thoughts or ideas about the book.

Then gather under the first full moon of the spring to discuss When Women Were Dragons at the Oak Bluffs Library from 6pm-7pm on Monday, March 25th. Bring a potluck dessert dish, and light refreshments will be provided during our discussion. Patrons must enter in the side door to the meeting room located in the back parking lot.

We have 11 copies of Barnhill’s  book on hold in the library and it also is available on the Libby app. Registration is encouraged.
