The Children’s Africana Book Awards (CABA) are presented annually to the authors and illustrators of the best children and young adult books on Africa. CABA is sponsored by Africa Access, the Center for African Studies at Howard University, and the Outreach Council of the African Studies Association. On hand to discuss the books will be Brenda Randolph, the founder of CABA and Carolyn Brown, a recent president of the African Studies Association.
