Community Reimagining Session: PBS Show ‘Basic Black’

September 24 @ 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

WGBH invites communities across the Commonwealth to weigh in on every aspect of the PBS show “Basic Black” as we reimagine the television program for 2025 and beyond.
Join us at the Oak Bluffs Public Library to meet with WGBH staff and talk about what the show could become. Let them know how it might address your concerns and meet your needs. Hosted by Sherry Tucker-Brown. “Basic Black” is the longest-running public television program focused on the interests of people of color, and produced at WGBH Studios in Boston for more than 50 years.
