Diana Lynch, Esq., CEO & Owner of Alma de Samaná Golf Resort and Residences will lead a discussion about the documentary entitled, “Reclaiming Destiny- the Making of Alma.”
It is the first Black-owned international luxury golf resort in the Dominican Republic. The resort will be developed on land originally settled by emancipated Americans who 200 years ago also sought to reclaim destiny when they left America and landed in this preserved place. the film industry in the Dominican Republic-as it aims to be the new “Hollywood in the Caribbean”.  
 
As the largest resort to be developed on the Northern shore of the Dominican Republic, Alma de Samaná will host the Alma International Film Festival in 2026.
Located just above the Samana Bay and Atlantic Ocean, Alma De Samana will be a gorgeous backdrop for the film festival with its picturesque mountains, natural waterfalls, lush gardens and white-sand beaches.
