Jane Resnick (b. 1987, Pennsylvania) studied fine arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She has lived on and off of Martha’s Vineyard since 2012. Her work, primarily painting, lies between realism and abstract expressionism. This exhibition of watercolors “twoism” leans toward the more abstract side, yet figures and landscapes are distinguishable in areas. All paintings are based on symbolistic narratives she composes.
