Join us for an author talk with Vickie Suggs-Jones, PhD, regarding her newly released book, Unscripted: Narratives From Women At Life’s 50-Yard Line. 

This book initiates an authentic conversation about midlife transition along with vulnerabilities including uncertainty, fear, loss, or shame that may accompany its onset. Its pages are purposed to revolutionize collective wisdom around career, family, business, financial, philanthropic, health and beauty, self-love, and spiritual evolutions.

Vickie Suggs-Jones is an author, editor, and storyteller at heart. She is also a diversity and inclusion advocate and Adjunct Professor of Mass Communications at North Carolina Central University.

Her background includes more than 25 years as a higher education administrator, researcher, and faculty member. As a scholar, she has published academic books, book chapters, and journal articles.
