Khan Academy
Khan Academy is a non-profit organization that provides standards-aligned lessons for K-12 (and early college) in math, grammar, science, history, Advanced Placement classes, and SAT practice. Content is free for students and teachers. Ben’s Guide offers information about the U.S. government for children ages 4-14, families, and teachers. The American Library Association selected Ben’s Guide as one of its Great Websites for Kids.
Common Sense Media: Parents Guide to Podcasts

Civil Rights: Then and Now
PBS Learning Media offers a collection of resources, including videos, documents, and primary resources, about the Civil Rights Movement. The collection is intended for grades 6-12.
Hippo Campus
Hippo Campus is a free resource that offers videos and other multimedia content to middle school and high school learners. Teachers can create a free account to get access to more customizable features for students and classes. Subjects include math, natural science, social science, and humanities. Hippo Campus is part of the NROC Project (Network, Resources, Open, College & Career), which strives to make education more accessible by providing free, web-based educational resources to parents, teachers, and learners.
Cornell University: Cornell Notetaking System Resources
The Cornell Note Taking System was developed at Cornell University by professor Walter Pauk. The notes system is designed for notetaking in class, reading textbooks, and for reading online resources. The system is laid out to provide space for facts, questions, and a summary of the learner’s understanding. Cornell University provides several resources to help learners understand the notetaking system.
Brainfuse
Brainfuse offers a comprehensive website of educational resources to support student learning, including live tutoring, 24/7 help center, a foreign language lab, writing lab, test center, and more. Tutors are trained and certified through Brainfuse, have at least a four-year degree, and have prior teaching experience. These resources are available for learners of all ages, including adults. Brainfuse is free with your CLAMS library card (any Island or Cape library card).

The Massachusetts Home Learning Association provides free curriculum resources for several age groups: all ages (general), Prek-kindergarten, elementary-middle school, and high school/college bound/continuing education.
Crash Course
Crash Course offers more than 15 free educational video courses for high school and college students. Crash Course Kids offers science videos that support the 5th grade science curriculum. The videos are fast-paced with engaging visuals. Each video provides credits to the individuals who write, edit, and consult with Crash Course to provide viewers with accurate content.
