For districts and families struggling with access to education, WGBH (PBS channel 2) has been airing educational content between 12 pm-5 pm M-F and will have free resources available on their website at the WGBH Distance Learning Center.

Scholastic Learn at Home
Scholastic offers instructional content for teachers and caregivers. Children can access about three hours of educational content per day. Scholastic organizes lessons according to grade level, so there is something for everyone.
Mindful Schools
For the next few weeks during school closures, Mindful Schools is offering free, live mindfulness classes for children in grades K-5.
Draw Every Day with Jarrett J. Krosoczka
Tune in every weekday with children’s author, Jarrett J. Krosoczka, for an episode on drawing. Each episode is about 20 minutes long.
Storytime Online
This website gives children the opportunity to listen to their favorite books being read by celebrated actors. This literacy program has was awards such as the American Association of School Librarian’s 2019 Best Websites for Teaching & Learning, 2016 Parents’ Choice Award, and 2017 Mobile Web Award.
Mass.gov Early Childhood Education Resources for Families
Mass.gov has curated a list of resources for families and children of all ages. The site also provides links to articles and content about talking to children about COVID-19.
Walt Disney Imagineering and Khan Academy
Walt Disney Imagineering has partnered with Khan Academy to provide a learning experience for children. The free, online course promotes story development and conceptual design skills.
