Join Claudia Taylor, the Martha’s Vineyard Poet Laureate for 2024-2026, for a reading of her
poetry, followed by a discussion of her personal approach to writing. Claudia will also talk about

Claudia Taylor was raised on Martha’s Vineyard. She received a BA from the University of York
and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge. As a high school student, Claudia was awarded
locally, nationally, and internationally for her poetry, including in the UK-based Foyle Young
Poets Award.
