Make your own “fossil” activity for kids with Oak Bluffs Library Children’s Assistant.
 
Free public science event suitable for all ages. This is a drop-in and mingle event at Union Chapel. Guest presenters will display fossils and be available for discussion. Bring fossils to show to others, or to ask about. Everyone is invited. Students and families especially welcome.
National Fossil Day is the concept of the National Park Service. MPRI collaborates with the Oak Bluffs Public Library; grant support from the Edey Foundation and MV Cultural Council, facility support from the Preservation Trust, and presenters of national and local renown.
