Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” – Adapted by Doris Baizley
Join us for a staged reading of Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol” performed by the staff of the Oak Bluffs Public Library. This one-act adaptation is the perfect holiday play with all the essential elements: Scrooge, the Cratchets, Marley, and time-traveling ghosts. A troupe of traveling players improvise and create Dickens’ world. Join us as the Christmas spirit transforms Ebenezer Scrooge in a story that has become a holiday tradition.
Two spirited performances will take place in the downstairs meeting room. Please plan to use the meeting room entrance on the parking lot side of the building for these after hours performances as the rest of the library will be closed.
