Conversation about College Admissions with former Yale admissions officer, Eva Ostrum
August 6 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Please join former Yale admissions officer and award-winning educator Eva Ostrum for a conversation about college admissions. Eva will share strategies for parents of children in grades 9-12 to stay on track for highly selective colleges. Eva has worked in college admissions on both sides of the desk: as an undergraduate admissions officer at Yale University – her alma mater – and as a teacher, school administrator, and private college admissions coach supporting students and families through the process.
She authored The Thinking Parent’s Guide to College Admissions: The Step-by-Step Program to Get Kids into the Schools of Their Dreams (Penguin Books, 2006) and executive produced Turusma: A Young Man’s Journey to College (2002), a documentary short about a young man who was the first in his family to go to college. A native New Yorker, she lives in New York City with her two children. You can follow Eva at evaostrum.school
