Brew & Bee!

Adult Spelling Bee Fundraiser 2019

JOIN US MONDAY, JUNE 10 AT 6:30PM FOR OUR ADULT SPELLING BEE FUNDRAISER!
Teams of adults will compete upstairs at the Barn Bistro (bowling alley) to determine the best spellers in O.BEE. – and all for a good cause! Team registrations and attendance support the Library Friends of Oak Bluffs to support their literacy initiatives with the Oak Bluffs Public Library – especially our Summer Reading Program!

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO PUT A SPELL ON YOUR COMPETITION?
Get a team together and compete! Each round, your team will have a specified period of time to spell a word. Correct spelling will earn points, incorrect spelling will lose points and the team with the most points will be crowned champions (really, you’ll get a crown…). Theatricality, team names and costumes are encouraged and will also win prizes! $50 per team of two to five adults.

HAS AUTOCORRECT ROBBED YOU OF YOUR SPELLING ABILITY, BUT STILL WANT TO BE PART OF THE FUN? You can support the Library Friends by joining us that evening and cheer on the spellers! Attendance is free with a suggested $5 per person donation so you can support your friends and BEE part of the fun!
