David was born in 1974. He started playing guitar with classical training at the age of 8 and by the age of 16 his songwriter career had started. He writes both top line and music and has an excellent voice.
Performing also came at an early age playing with local bands and he then went on to embark on a solo career supporting and performing on tour with artists such as Ray Davies, Robert Cray & Eric Bibb and regularly performed his own music at venues such as the famous Kashmir Club in London and Glastonbury Festival.
From there David’s career as a songwriter properly took off – he co-wrote with artist, Ben Taylor, with tracks included on three of Ben’s US albums. He also toured with Carly Simon, for whom he co-produced and wrote for one of her albums, ‘Never Been gone’. He also released his own solo album, ‘Broken Down Figure’ on US label, Iris Records.
Recently, David mainly writes and works on projects out of the legendary studios, RAK, in St John’s Wood, where he is signed to their publishing company.
