Amazing You!

Families join us and celebrate Women’s History Month at the OBPL on Saturday, March 10th from 10-11:30AM. Kids can make crafts all geared to building confidence and celebrating what makes them amazing. Geared for kids 2 grade and older, but all are welcome.

 The Library Friends of Oak Bluffs are hosting a fundraiser in collaboration with Offshore Ale company. Dine at Offshore on March 15, and they will donate 20% of your food bill* to the Library Friends!

Closed Tuesday, January 16th

The library will be closed Tuesday, January 16th for building maintenance. We will be reopened Wednesday, January 17th.

Closed for the Holidays

In celebration of the holidays, the library will be closed Tuesday, December 26th and Tuesday, January 2nd. Happy Holidays everyone!

Hot Cocoa Saturday

The library is all about being cozy on Saturday, December 16th. Join the staff and wear your favorite (and ugliest) holiday sweater while sipping hot cocoa. And from 10-11:30AM, children are welcome to take part in our DIY Hot Cocoa in a Jar craft. Kids can decorate a jar of hot cocoa mix to give to someone they love for the Holidays.

  

Holiday Open House

Join the Library Friends for a Holiday Open House Saturday, December 2nd from 12PM-2PM. There will be crafts for kids, delicious food, and more. Hope to see you and your family there!

Thanksgiving library closings

The library will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th in celebration of Thanksgiving! We will be reopened on Saturday, November 25th. Happy Turkey Day everyone!

Thanksgiving Craft

Saturday, November 18th at 10am, children can make thankful turkey center pieces to put on their Thanksgiving table. A great craft for children who are comfortable using scissors.

Closed Saturday, November 11th

The library will be closed Saturday, November 11th for Veteran’s Day. We will be opened our usual hours Friday, November 10th from 10AM-5PM.

Halloween Party!

It’s getting spooky in the Children’s Room! Saturday November 4th from 10-11:30am, kids and their families can tour our spooky tunnel, play frightful games, and make a ghostly craft.

A great reason to wear those costumes one more time.
